Size Weight Length Thickness
Standard 2.9kg 180cm x 61cm 4mm
Long 3.2kg 200cm x 61cm 4mm

Recommended carrier: GO MOVE MAT CARRIER or BREATH EASY YOGA BAG
Recommended wash and care: NATURAL RUBBER YOGA MAT RESTORE

All eKO® Series yoga mats have a closed-cell surface, which will never absorb moisture. Because of this, if you are warm/sweaty at all, the yoga mat will feel slippery, so we always recommend pairing it with one of our hand towels to absorb moisture and provide extra traction or to apply our Yoga Grip Gel during your practice. If you're practicing hot yoga, we recommend a mat towel for full mat coverage.

The marbled and striped colors are hand-processed and have unique patterns. We can't guarantee the yoga mat will match the image exactly.

Crafted in Taiwan from natural tree rubber.

 Features

  • Ripple Water Catch-Grip surface for improved traction in wet and dry conditions
  • Responsive Ride rubber layer generates a springy ride for a supported yet comfortable practice
  • Maximum comfort to protect joints and bones
  • Closed-cell top surface locks out moisture and bacteria, keeping the mat clean and in good condition longer than other natural rubber yoga mats
  • Contains over 30% recycled content
  • Due to their biodegradable nature, the eKO Series is not recommended for a daily vigorous practice
  • Usage of eKO Series yoga mats in a hot environment requires regular care to maintain the performance of the rubber
  • Pro Tip: Natural rubber provides a semi-sticky grip, but since it won't absorb sweat, we always recommend pairing your practice with our eQua® hand towels or yogitoes® hand towels  to absorb moisture and increase grip or improve your grip with our Yoga Grip Gel
  • 99% latex free.  Not recommended for those with latex sensitivities
  • Standard:  2.9kg; 180cm x 61cm; 4mm thick
  • Long:  3.2kg; 200cm x 61cm; 4mm thick

Use & Care

Without soaking or submerging, spray a generous amount of Manduka’s Natural Rubber Yoga Mat Restore over the entire surface of your mat, paying close attention to any areas of decolorization. Allow the cleaner to sit for 5 minutes and then gently use a clean cloth to wipe mat dry before rolling or using.

We do not recommend cleaning your mat with a garden hose, vacuuming it, or placing it in a bathtub, shower, or washing machine—doing so may damage your eKO mat beyond repair. Do not leave the mat exposed to excessive amounts of sunlight as it will cause mat to oxidize and fade. Do not use any type of soap for cleaning, as it will compromise the performance and integrity of the mat. Do not use the salt method to break in or clean eKO mats.

Sustainability

The updated eKO® Series is a natural yoga mat made from sustainably harvested tree rubber and containing over 30% recycled rubber. Unlike other rubber mats available today, the foaming agents used to create the eKO® are non-toxic. What this means is that no toxic chemicals have gone into the manufacturing process to soften the rubber. eKO® Series mats are the most durable natural rubber mats on the market, which means the mat will last longer before you have to replace it, therefore creating less waste. The packaging is made from recycled PET. Crafted in Taiwan.

Since the beginnings of the Black Mat, Manduka has been inspired and guided by a responsibility to reduce global consumption by making better products that last longer. Our design approach is rooted in principles of conservancy and transparency, creating mats, towels, props and apparel while also making every possible effort to minimize environmental waste. We’re constantly searching for innovative partners and updated technologies to further respect the land upon which we place our mats and our intentions.
As a company, we understand the impossibility of leaving no environmental footprint. But what we can commit to is 100% transparency, being clear about the decisions we make and, most importantly, where we have room to improve.
We consistently strive to be better, stronger, kinder and more conscious of our actions and their global impact.
Sustainability isn’t simply a story. It’s part of our DNA and part of our evolving practice.
Soulfully Engineered No other yoga mat is built with the precision and passion of Manduka. Designed by yogis and loved by teachers worldwide, carefully-selected materials are paired with thoughtful design for the tiniest environmental footprint possible. The result? High performance products with an even higher purpose - to keep the focus on your practice.
